June 24-30, 2013 is Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week in the UK!
Held by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, this year’s first ever RA Awareness Week seeks to help raise awareness of the disease and the 690,000 people in the UK that live with RA (now think about that number when combined with Ankylosing Spondylitis, Still’s Disease, and other sister-disease patients that use the same treatments!)
Please check them out, give them a few RT’s on twitter and reblog.

- Download the Facing the Facts PDF awareness sheet
- Read about (and join!) their membership program
For each day of #RAWeek, I’ll be posting relevant infographics like these. Reblog, retweet, and help spread awareness!
*One thing I’d like to note about this infographic: under the age of 16, individuals are diagnosed with juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA). People as young as a few months old can develop the disease— RA does not care about your age!
